The agreement and the requesting organization
This notice explains electronic records and signing through Turnstile. Read it with the agreement and the transaction-specific disclosures supplied by the organization requesting your signature. That organization is responsible for the agreement, the authority of its parties, and whether electronic execution is appropriate for the document.
Reading this notice, verifying an account, or opening an agreement is not a signature or consent to electronic delivery. You decide whether to sign the identified agreement. Electronic delivery consent, agreement to the contract’s terms, and authority to bind a party are separate matters.
Reviewing and signing
Review the complete agreement and the recipient details before signing. Use your own authorized account and complete the required authentication. Where signing is enabled, Turnstile uses DocuSeal to provide the signing experience and receive its recorded outcome.
A signature relates to the agreement revision and recipient identified in that request. A browser confirmation alone is not the final completion record. Turnstile records completion when the signing provider confirms it and the completed agreement and audit files have been received.
Save the completed agreement and available audit record. An updated document does not silently amend an agreement you already signed; an amendment needs the process required by that agreement and applicable law.
Information you should receive before consenting
Where the transaction requires consent to electronic delivery, the requesting organization must give you the following information before obtaining your affirmative choice. Ask it to resolve missing or unclear information before you proceed.
- The requesting organization’s identity and contact details, the records covered, and whether the consent applies to one transaction or a clearly identified category of records.
- Your right or option to receive records on paper, how to request a paper copy, and any fee or consequence that is lawful and disclosed in advance.
- How to withdraw electronic-delivery consent or update your contact details, and any disclosed consequences of withdrawal.
- The hardware and software needed to access and retain the records, including any additional requirements of that agreement or signing provider.
- A way to demonstrate access to the electronic format where required, and a record of the disclosure and your affirmative consent.
Accessing and keeping your records
To use the online signing flow, you need an internet connection, a browser that supports the signing interface, access to your verified account and authentication method, and a way to read and save PDF files. Enable the browser features required by the signing interface. You need a printer only if you choose to print a copy.
Before consenting to electronic delivery, confirm that you can open and retain the format used for the transaction. If access fails or a change in requirements prevents you from keeping records, contact the requesting organization for an appropriate alternative. A technical problem does not waive any required disclosure or access right.
Paper copies, withdrawal, and contact changes
Contact the requesting organization using the details in the agreement to request a paper copy, ask for another format, withdraw consent to future electronic delivery, or update the contact information used for that transaction. If its contact details are missing or it cannot be reached, email legal@turnstileos.com so Turnstile can help route the request.
The requesting organization must explain any supported alternative, lawful charge, or permitted consequence before you consent. Do not assume that a paper fee or termination charge applies when none was disclosed. Withdrawal applies as required by law and the transaction’s disclosed process; it does not by itself invalidate a record already delivered or cancel an agreement already signed.
Scope of your choice
Signing one agreement does not authorize future signatures, unrelated marketing, or electronic delivery beyond the scope you accepted. Some documents require a witness, notarization, a particular form, or a process outside Turnstile. The requesting organization must use a suitable process; this notice does not dispense with those requirements.
If a required disclosure, access demonstration, paper option, or consent process has not been provided for your transaction, do not proceed on the assumption that this page supplies it. Ask the requesting organization to provide the appropriate process. Turnstile’s authentication and signing records do not replace a legally required consent record.
